Many LFNW sessions are recorded and livestreamed publicly (for example, to YouTube) by our AV & Streaming volunteers. If you ask a question during a session's Q&A, or otherwise participate on camera or on mic, that may appear in the public recording. General photos of the expo hall, keynotes, and crowds may also be taken for LFNW's own promotional use.
Outside of official session recording, our Code of Conduct already asks attendees to ask before photographing or recording another person individually, and harassing photography or recording is covered by our Anti-Harassment Policy. If you'd rather not appear in official photos, let a volunteer or organizer know and we'll do our best to accommodate that.
